Manteca, Calif. – May 26, 2022 – Doctors Hospital of Manteca has announced that James Nyberg and Steven Halcon, both hospital maintenance engineers, have been honored by Tenet Healthcare as part of its annual recognition program. James and Steven have been named Tenet Heroes, with the additional honor of being inducted into the Tenet Heroes’ Hall of Fame.
The Tenet Heroes program celebrates those individuals who make a meaningful impact within their communities that goes above and beyond their daily responsibilities. Nominated by leadership and/or fellow colleagues, Tenet Heroes exemplify the company’s core values and commitment to its mission.
Each year, a select few are inducted into the Tenet Heroes’ Hall of Fame, the Company’s most prestigious honor for employees. This year, 23 individuals or teams were named to the Hall of Fame, including James and Steven.
James and Steven were recognized as Tenet Heroes and Hall of Fame winners after showing incredible generosity in offering to help fix up the home of a co-worker who was battling a terminal illness, taking the burden off him and his family, as well as providing meals to the family around the time of his passing. Their compassion, empathy and selflessness is admirable. This is just one example of James and Steven’s incredible support for our hospital and colleagues, on top of the work they perform on a daily basis to make sure our operations run smoothly.
“James and Steven are a true inspiration and their actions make a positive and meaningful impact in our community every day,” said Eleze Armstrong, CEO of Doctors Hospital of Manteca. “We are proud to serve alongside James and Steven, and deeply appreciate their dedication, selfless nature and continued commitment to our hospital, patients and the communities we serve.”
